Rain Forest Eco Resort Gazipur - A Very Nature Friendly Resort

ঢাকার কাছাকাছি গাজীপুরের মাওনাতে  অবস্থিত এই রেইন ফরেস্ট ইকো রিসোর্টে গিয়েছিলাম আমরা। ঢাকা ময়মনসিংহ হাইওয়ে ধরে দেড়-দুই ঘন্টার মধ্যে পৌঁছে যাওয়া যায় এই রিসোর্টে। 

আমরা এই রিসোর্টে তাদের ২৪ ঘন্টার প্যাকেজে গিয়েছিলাম। রিসোর্টের যে ব্যাপারটা সবচেয়ে বেশি ভালো লাগে তা হলো তাদের রুম। রুমের গেট আপ থেকে শুরু করে ওয়াশরুমের অ্যামিনিটিস সবকিছুই অনেক ভালো ছিলো। তবে খাবার আর সার্ভিস এখনো অন্যান্য রিসোর্টের তুলনায় পিছিয়ে। এর কারণ হচ্ছে তারা এখনও সম্পূর্ণ কন্সট্রাকশন শেষ করে নি। 

তবে সবকিছু মিলিয়ে গাজীপুরের মধ্যে এই বাজেটে রিসোর্টটি বেশ ভালোই বলা যায়। আশা করি তাদের ফুল কন্সট্রাকশন শেষ হলে খাবার এবং সার্ভিস এর কোয়ালিটি আরও উন্নত হবে। তখন ঢাকার কাছের রিসোর্টগুলোর মধ্যে এই রিসোর্টটিও বেশ ভালো একটি অপশন হয়ে উঠবে।

We went to Rain Forest Eco resort with their full board package and had some mixed experiences in this resort in Gazipur. The resort is not fully complete yet but it looks like the pending works will be completed soon. But the rooms are complete and have to say, the room standards are very high. 

The resort is situated near Shatkhamair Bazar, beside the Mawna-Bormi road in Sreepur, Gazipur. Just 5 mins away from the Bazar, the entry road to the resort is quite interesting. With big trees and forest-like woods on both sides of the road, you could tell why the name of the resort is Rain Forest Eco resort.

There are so many resorts near Dhaka and in Gazipur. What this resort is trying to different is to be fully eco-friendly. With solar power generated system for electricity and using very less power from the main source, they are trying to be as power efficient as possible. 


This resort in Gazipur is quite infamous, having just started only 9 months ago. But the room quality of the resorts seemed more than satisfactory with a very 5-star vibe in the rooms. Among so many resorts, these rooms have been the most impressive rooms. 

I think this resort suits very well for a day trip near Dhaka or for a night stay package. Although the resort is still under construction, its eco-friendly setup and forest all around it will give a very nice out-of-town vibe.

EDEN GARDEN RESORT - A Perfect Getaway Place at Savar, Away From the City

Eden Garden Resort is a newly built and very nicely decorated resort located at Sinduria, Savar which is approximately a 2-hour drive away from Dhaka. ট্রলারে সেইন্ট মার্টিন যাত্রা আর শরতের সেইন্ট মার্টিন বিলাস। ২ রাত ২ দিন।   Saint Martin Trollar Journey ১ম দিন - আমরা ৫ বন্ধু ১৭ তারিখ সকালে সেইন্ট মার্টিন যাওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে কক্সবাজার থেকে টেকনাফের জন্য রওনা দেই। সকাল ১০ টার দিকে ট্রলার ছাড়ে তাই সকাল ৭ টার দিকে কক্সবাজার এর ডলফিন মোড় থেকে ১০০০ টাকায় সি এন জি নিয়ে মেরিন ড্রাইভ হয়ে রওনা দেই। মাঝে রয়েল টিউলিপ বিচ এর এখানে থামি হালকা নাস্তা করার জন্য। এরপর ৯ টার দিকে পৌঁছে যাই একদম টেকনাফ ট্রলার ঘাট। সেখান থেকে ২২০ টাকায় জন প্রতি ট্রলার এর টিকেট কেটে আমরা বাজার থেকে ছাতা আর গামছা কিনে নেই। এক্ষেত্রে ট্রলারে সাড়ে ৯ টার দিকে লোক উঠানো শুরু করলে আগে আগে উঠে ভালো জায়গায় বসে নিলে বেটার। আমরা ১০ টায় ট্রলার ছাড়ার কথা থাকায় ৯.৫৫ এ এসে দেখি ট্রলার ছেড়ে দিসে। লাকিলি ২য় ট্রলার ছিলো ১২ টায়। নাহলে হয়ত সেইন্ট মার্টিন যাওয়া হতো না।   অনেকদিন ২য় ট্রলার থাকে না। একটা ট্রলারই ছাড়ে। তাই সকালের প্রথম ট্রলারে যাওয়াই সেফ অপশন। এরপর কোস্ট গার্ডের একটা ফর্মাল চেক এর পর শুরু হয় যাত্রা। নাফ নদীতে মায়ানমারের বর্ডার ঘেষে চলতে চলতে যেন একটু অন্যরকমই লাগছিলো। এ
